History
Minnesota Women Ceramic Artists was founded in 2009 by Colleen Riley as an outgrowth of the first Exhibition of Minnesota Women Ceramic Artists in 2008, an event Colleen also organized. Thank you, Colleen, and to all our charter members.
Mission
Minnesota Women Ceramic Artists is a professional organization that supports women ceramic artists in Minnesota. MNWCA provides its members opportunities for exhibiting, networking and mentoring throughout their ceramic careers. MNWCA also furthers the creative and professional development of its members.

Goals for 2013
Promote MNWCA activities and opportunities
Support MNWCA mentoring program
Increase member website involvement
Finalize 2012 budget
Develop 2013 budget template
Provide semi-annual critique sessions
Provide workshops supporting creative and professional development six times a year
Coordinate social and networking opportunities six times a year
Provide a bi-annual exhibition alternating between members-only and juried artists.
Encourage members to develop and execute ideas for additional exhibition opportunities
